McIntosh MA6200 Integrated Amplifier
The McIntosh MA6200 is a classic integrated amplifier from McIntosh, produced between 1978 and 1991. It has long been highly regarded in the high-end hi-fi community for its smooth, musical sound and exceptionally durable build quality, making it one of the most reliable amplifiers of its era. Power Output: 75 WPC at 8Ω / 100 WPC at 4Ω (Total Harmonic Distortion is just 0.05%). Equalization: Features a 5-band program equalizer (30 Hz, 150 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 10 kHz) rather than traditional bass/treble controls. Phono Stages: Includes two dedicated phono inputs with built-in RIAA equalization for direct turntable connection. Power Guard Protection: Patented McIntosh Power Guard circuitry protects speakers from distortion and clipping. Connectivity: Offers inputs for two auxiliary devices, a tuner, and two tape loops with two-way dubbing. It also allows for switching between up to three pairs of speakers. Loudness Control: Includes a continuously variable loudness compensator that models the Fletcher-Munson curves. It is plug-and-play, compatible with our local mains voltage, and ready to use. It also features two dedicated phono inputs for turntables, along with a built-in EQ and adjustable tone controls—features that are rarely found in modern amplifiers. All indicator lights are working perfectly.
