+6 The McIntosh MA252 is McIntosh’s first-ever hybrid integrated amplifier, blending a vacuum tube preamplifier with a solid-state power amplifier. Taking retro design cues from the legendary MC275, it delivers 100 Watts per channel into 8 ohms (160 Watts into 4 ohms). It features a Moving Magnet phono stage, a dedicated headphone amplifier, and built-in protection technologies like Power Guard and Sentry Monitor. Key Features Hybrid Design : The preamplifier stage utilizes two 12AX7a and two 12AT7 vacuum tubes housed in protective cages. The direct-coupled solid-state power amp eliminates traditional warm-up time. Connectivity : Includes 1 balanced (XLR), 2 unbalanced (RCA), and 1 Moving-Magnet (MM) phono input. It also provides a mono subwoofer output.
